Synopsis
Cowboy movie star Tom Ford (Gene Autry) skips town, owing mobster Rico a $10,000 gambling debt. The studio calls in Ford's stuntman, Gene Autry (Autry again), to take the star's place for a special appearance at the Texas Centennial Exposition in Dallas. Mistaking Autry for Ford, the gangsters race to Dallas to collect. Crooning cowpoke Autry shines in two roles in this spirited Western, shot largely on location at the Texas Centennial in 1936.
