David (David Moscow), a Jewish New Yorker who hosts the local TV hit "Sex and Happiness," falls for sensual dancer Layla (Shiva Rose), only to learn that she's a Muslim refugee. As romance ensues, so do plenty of objections from the lovers' families; not to mention David's prior engagement to bi-polar Jewish American Princess, Abby, played hilariously by Callie Thorne. Will Janowitz is a scene stealer as David's cool, flamboyant gay brother.
