In the not-so-distant future, the People's Monarchy of California secedes from the United States to establish its own government after a terrorist attack devastates the population and generates a thriving band of rampaging zombies. For Trent Baker (Trey Bayer), the flesh-eating zombies are the least of his worries, because when his long-missing sister, Sara (Amanda Nutting), finally returns, she is revealed to be a vampire.
