Synopsis
The stories of voters in 11 different communities -- ranging from tiny Stockholm, Wis., to New York City -- are chronicled over the course of Election Day 2004 in Katy Chevigny's cinema verité documentary. Highlights include a Native American voter drive in South Dakota, a hotly contested race for sheriff in a small Florida town, and the stories of two first-time voters: an 18-year-old farm girl and a 50-year-old ex-convict.
