After spending years as a member of a corrupt inner-city police force, Armando Sancho (Clifton Collins Jr.) is ready to make a break and start clean. But when a dirty superior (Cole Hauser) asks him and his partner (Oscar winner Cuba Gooding Jr.) to retrieve a bag of confiscated drugs from lockup and deliver it directly to a powerful gangster (Wyclef Jean), Armando has no choice but to oblige him in a final assignment.
