Synopsis
Victor Damian's documentary sheds light on the May 2005 demonstrations in Bolivia, provoked by the government's privatization and exploitation of resources such as oil and natural gas. Presented from the point of view of the Bolivian people -- including grassroots leaders, local journalists and average citizens, as well as politicians -- the film examines the events that led to the uprising and the resignation of President Carlos Mesa.
