Synopsis
Filmmaker Pearl Gluck returns to her Hungarian roots to find a couch that has been in her family for years. Through her clever and lighthearted quest to find the precious family heirloom, Gluck also undergoes a search for her true identity. Her intense, tenacious and sometimes ironic obsession with finding the beloved sofa provides a glimpse into her culture and why this particular piece of furniture means so much.
