Thomas (Mikael Persbrandt) gets behind the wheel and embarks on a journey to connect one final time with each of the meaningful people in his life. Hating the man he's become, he ends the tour by committing suicide -- an event foretold in the film opening's narration. Danish director Simon Staho stages nearly all of the action in a car, playing with structure and forced intimacy to heighten the disquieting feel of this dark tale.
