A scientist (Scott Bairstow) doing fieldwork in the Namibian Desert ends up investigating the disappearance of some missing diamond prospectors and makes a horrifying discovery when he comes across their remains -- their bones picked clean of flesh. It soon becomes apparent that a relentless horde of terrifying creatures has taken over the desert, eating every human in sight. Can the scientist escape before he becomes a victim?
