Six friends in New York City face emotional crises as they turn 30. For starters, we meet an investment banker who desperately wants to get married, a bitter stand-up comedian, and a real estate agent who's been struggling with her weight for years. Also foundering are a marketing executive who perceives any career advancement as a sign of getting old and a young man whose girlfriend of four years insists on a greater commitment.
