In the pre-AIDs days of the late 1970s, Philip (Gregory Phelan) meets Guy (Kevin Spirtas) at a yard sale and what begins as an argument over a green plaid shirt turns into a powerful relationship, and a poignant lesson in life, love and death. Philip and Guy become lovers, and while both continue having outside relationships, Philip finds he's not as "open" as Guy. But the relationship takes a tragic turn when Guy contracts AIDS.
