Matthew (Matthew Settle) begins stalking ex-girlfriend Liz (Gretchen Mol) following their breakup, distressing her with his obsessive presence in her life. But when he lays off after falling into a heated relationship with Liz's friend Corey (Samantha Mathis), Liz becomes jealous. Meanwhile, Liz's new beau, Garrett (Tom Everett Scott), wants to make sure Matthew stays away -- so he turns the tables on her former stalker.
