After avenging his parents' death, Hero Hua (Ekin Cheng) flees China for the United States, where he runs into trouble as an indentured servant. Years later, Hero's son Sword (Nicholas Tse) comes looking for his father and learns about his difficult experiences in America. Directed by Hong Kong filmmaker Wai-keung Lau, this martial arts epic culminates in an incredible fight scene at the Statue of Liberty.
