German character actor Jürgen Prochnow stars as Paul Konen, a photographer on assignment in China who falls in love with Wang Liyun, his beautiful Chinese tour guide (Sarah Lam). The Triad gang kidnaps his beloved and forces him to be their accomplice back in Germany to guarantee her safety. Will the pressure be too much for Paul or will his love for Wang withstand?
