They don't come much more hard-boiled than Jude (Kelly Lynch), a jewel thief who pushes her partner and lover, Ned (David Caruso), out of the getaway car and makes off with the plunder in this neo-noir thriller from John Ridley. Ned spends the rest of the film in pursuit of his lady and his loot -- a task made more difficult by the sexy hitchhiker (Stacey Dash) who begs a ride, tells a sob story and then turns a gun on him.
