Synopsis
A commemorative concert video filmed in Oakland, Calif., Freebird: The Movie features a blistering 1977 performance by the legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd. Tribute Tour follows the Southern-fried rockers as they set off from Florida on a cross-country tour. When the plane carrying members of the band -- including front man Ronnie Van Zandt and guitarist Steve Gaines -- crashed in 1977, the world lost one of the most talented rock groups of the era.
