Child psychologist Samuel Faulkner (Hugh Grant) doesn't actually want children of his own. So when his longtime girlfriend, Rebecca (Julianne Moore), reveals that she's pregnant, his world goes topsy-turvy as he struggles to come to terms with impending fatherhood.
