Synopsis
This Australian miniseries features actress Cate Blanchett (early in her career) as a radio producer who's investigating the appalling murder of a young aboriginal girl. As the investigation progresses, tensions flare between the already strained white and black communities in the isolated town of Brooklyn Waters. Soon, the girl's murder threatens to force all involved to their collective breaking point.
