Eight months have passed since the Miskatonic Massacre -- which occurred in the previous film, Re-Animator -- and Dr. Herbert West (Jeffrey Combs ) and Dr. Dan Cain (Bruce Abbott) are experimenting again, but this time, they've created a new life. No more reanimating corpses. This life form made from spare body parts is a beautiful companion for Dr. West, but this is definitely &NFi;not&NFi_; a match made in heaven.
