Wesley Eure stars as Brian Foster, a computer wiz who creates a robotic dog with unusual abilities. Not only can he fetch, roll over and do all the usual tricks, he also has the ability to tell, with the help of X-ray vision and other far-out skills, whether a crime is in progress, making him the ideal companion for cops on the beat.
