This crime thriller -- based on the famous 1950 Brink's robbery -- follows hood Chips McGann (Robert Gist) as he assembles a gang to hold up an armored-car company in Boston. Aided by ex-con Red Mack (Jay Barney) and old-timer Pop Kane (J. Pat O'Malley), the team pulls off the elaborate heist. The crooks agree to have McGann hang on to the loot until the heat is off, but infighting and police pressure soon turn the men against one another.
