A grotesque, undead behemoth terrorizes the denizens of a small California mountain town in this 1958 cult classic. Scientist Wayne Brooks (Edward Kemmer) and his colleagues discover the giant body of legendary Spanish conquistador Vargas (Buddy Baer), who was killed on the mountain during an Indian attack. Next thing you know, a bolt of lightning releases the depraved Vargas from suspended animation, and he goes on a bloody rampage.
