Renowned for his animation, director Piotr Dumala demonstrates a flair for live action with this evocative drama told on both realistic and metaphorical levels about a boy, Jedrek (Mariusz Bonaszewski), tending to a father (Stanislaw Brudny) who can no longer take care of himself. Interwoven with stark scenes of Jedrek bathing and changing his father, the two take a journey through a forest, with the father leading the son.
