Trying to avoid an overly ardent suitor, young schoolteacher Anne Gladden (Heather Angel) jumps into his car and drives off, not realizing there's a murdered gangster in the trunk. As both a group of thugs and the cops trail her, she meets a handsome man on the road who could be either a scoundrel or her savior. Based on a Dalton Trumbo story, this comic thriller co-stars John "Dusty" King, Constance Collier, Clem Bevans and Tom Dugan.
