Horror maestro Boris Karloff stars in these two tales of terror. In Before I Hang, when a physician (Karloff) lands on death row for a mercy killing, he continues formulating his youth serum, testing it on himself. While it makes him younger, it also turns him into a Jekyll-and-Hyde psychopath. Then, Peter Lorre co-stars in The Boogie Man, which finds Karloff spoofing his mad-scientist persona as a dim-witted doctor trying to revive the dead.
